Finesse & Flow - March 2023

Trackyon Music and Entertainment is the prominent collision of music, passion, and gratifying ambiance. Commencing the year with the Spring Finesse & Flow, a host of artists congregate at The Squire Lounge, igniting the music scene one lyric at a time.

California native Joel June (@officialjoeljune) kicked off the night with his distinctive voice and spiritual-themed lyricism, giving life to a vibrant atmosphere. From the beginning of his set, Joel June said he was going to take us on a journey, and on that he delivered.

Succeeded by Denver talent Resrface (@resrface), spectators are then graced with high-velocity lyricism, and a spirited presence. Jesse Santana has been performing for 7 years and his stage presence is nothing short of professional. This comes as no surprise as he had just opened for Kota the Friend in September of 2022 to a sold out crowd at Cervantes.

Hailing from the East Side of Denver Colorado, Trackyon Music's very own Jeremiah “Teach” the Prophet (@teach_prophet), enters the mix, demonstrating lyrical and linguistic mastery through catchy, enticing wordplay.  Teach did a couple songs from his latest EP "Back To School Night", which can be heard HERE.

The headlining act WAY (@worldofway), formerly known as Connor Ray, brought the evening home beautifully. With an artistic style comparable to that of Jermaine Cole, this lyrically gifted gem took crowd engagement to another level, and had heads bobbing incessantly.

From giant inflatable globes, to his selections from his project "Lonely and Holy", to his custom painted lab coat, we definitely were brought into the world of WAY. It's no cliché to say you just HAD to be there.

In an industry where the common themes are sex, violence, and drugs, these artists are a breath of fresh air promoting a dialogue of positivity, revolution, spirituality, and social consciousness.

The common denominator who pulled everything together was Colorado’s very own DJ Hex Kitten. Her captivating production and playlist was the first perfect compliment to each artist’s performance, and a nod at women in music during women’s history month.  Follow DJ Hex on Instagram for where she'll be next @thehexkitten.

Trackyon mastermind, and the evening's host Hanzo The Phantom has an acute eye for talent. His ability to curate line-ups brings a new life to the Live Hip-Hop experience.  As an artist, entrepreneur, and entertainer The Phantom proves himself a triple threat in this industry, whetting our appetites for more!

The next Finesse & Flow is June 16th, 2023 back at The Squire Lounge. I have it on good authority that we will have a BIG name out of the Denver Music Scene. You won't want to miss it. Stay tuned for more.
